NEW FACES, NEW FINISH, NEW FACTORY!
A classic line of playing cards from LPCC.
Introducing Serpentine, a new classically themed line of playing cards from LPCC. We discovered a 100+ year-old pinochle deck at The World of Playing Cards and fell in love with the classic back artwork and gorgeous faces. With help from generous collectors and playing card lovers we tracked down the original artwork. Our artists re-worked the back design, and Stuart Palm hand-illustrated a custom Ace and Joker.

We printed Serpentine at a new factory, on traditionally cut European card stock, with precise printing registration. The cards faro easily, and our new Emerald Finish has a more of a 'paper' feel, with a stiffness in-between our firm Diamond Finish and softer Classic Finish.

I think fir can do about $20 a pair shipped to the us/europe. So it might be cheaper to pick one up from him than a pair from legends directly. That's my guess, I think it should be in that ballpark plus minus a dollar or two

Thanks Kai. I have a feeling it may even be less than that as I will be passing on the bulk discount - that works out to $9.70 a pair before shipping. HK shipping fees are still lower though - overall I'd say it makes sense to purchase directly from LPCC if you're thinking of getting other decks.

And no worries Vasta, I'll post pictures once the decks reach me!

I hear "Australia" and I instantly think shipping rape. But it seems more reasonable than I thought. I might end up getting another deck or two from their store so overall I think it would be better if I bought direct. Otherwise I definately would've taken you up on your offer . Thanks again!

Thus far, LPCC has FIVE finishes:

- Master
- Diamond
- Classic
- Emerald
- ZEN???

I'm actually tempted to open 1 of my ZEN Prototypes to see how they feel in comparison to the rest of the EPCC decks I have. TBH, I don't think there will be much of a difference... The only difference between the Legends, Exquisites, Boardwalks, and NOC V3s (those are what I have) is that the latter two seem to last longer than Legends or Exquisites. Oh, and they require less breaking in. Other than that, handling doesn't have much of a difference. Any cardist think differently?

Oh, also ordered 2 Reds & 2 Blues here, plus some other decks. I went for the Exquisite Bolds, if you can believe it... :\ I blame Alix B. She makes them look good D:
