Hi all
I’ve always loved playing cards but have only just recently had my eyes opened to the world of modern decks and the community around it. Am working on a small collection (around 30 decks acquired over the past 6 months) each of which I treasure in their own way and love handling. Doing my best not to empty my wallet too quickly.
Learning some basic cardistry, flourishes and simple sleights - slow progress but I’m getting there. I’ve managed to impress my 11 year old a couple of times - so that’s something.
Ive been lurking on these boards a bit so thought I should introduce myself. Great to be here.
Hi from Sydney

Welcome Sinecure. Well, if you can impress your 11 year old with your skills, you have surpassed me.
I second rousselle's warning. Watch out for warning signs "Beware Lotrek - Delays Ahead" and "Stockholm17 - No Exit"

Hi Sinecure,
I'm from Sydney (Australia?) also. Good to have another Aussie around, there are a few of us here and on the various FB groups, but its definitely a harder hobby to follow from this hemisphere.

Welcome aboard - I remember having 30 decks not too long ago - keep an eye on them, they multiply like rabbits

Re: Hi from Sydney
Thanks all for the warm welcome!
Thanks! Glad to to hear there are a few Aussies around to swap local notes with. Those shipping costs and wait times are crazy right now.Thedissident001 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 6:19 pm Hi Sinecure,
