Favorite mini decks?
Hey all, looking for some mini decks that are good to handle and shuffle. I got the Bicycle mini and was surprised to find that they weren't air cushioned and would not faro. The Art of Play Flea Circus deck looks fun... anything else you could recommend?

Not many mini decks that handle well - Orbit v4 mini being a rare exception - it will fan and faro

I think the old bicycle mini decks handle like crap but the newer ones actually feel like real bicycle decks. I don't know if they make them anymore though. But ye like gandalf said most mini decks handle like crap. Not sure why
Looking to buy (DM me if selling please!):

I have the Ravn IIIII X mini done by WJPC. It feels pretty good and has a linen finish. Way better than my mini-Bikes. No idea how it'd perform as I can't do that stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've actually collected quite a few from different companies. I can safely say that none of them faro well, which is unfortunate. I guess it's due to the cut for these small cards. Riffling is also difficult due to the size. I find the easiest and safest way to shuffle these is with a wash, which is pretty easy because they're small and spreading them out doesn't take much room.Cycologist wrote: ↑Tue Sep 16, 2025 1:48 pm I have the Ravn IIIII X mini done by WJPC. Re: Favorite mini decks?
you can attempt to polish the deck edges - rubbing them on a pair of jeans on the edges while slanting the deck to one side and the other has made many a full size deck perform better for me - never tried it on a mini deck - figure it would take a whole lot of polishing, will give it a try and let you know how it turns out…
to get a baseline, I have a bike mini deck here that fans like a pile of sandpaper - I am a bit too good at faro as I can manage them but they don’t make it easy - I would say these would polish up well.
