Hi UC!

This is our new project, which we will try to launch on Kickstarter in October.

Name: The Clouds of Destiny Tarot
Decks: Two tarot decks only

There will be two tarot decks (standard and pocket sizes). Some of you may know that there is also a poker deck, but it will not be produced this time. While I love this poker deck, we need more time to start and finish the coloring, work on the boxes, back designs, and pips—there's still a lot to do, and we can't delay this Kickstarter. That poker deck is not our priority. There are also other reasons, so this will be my first KS project without poker decks. Let’s see how it goes. I’ll post some images later.

You may have seen some project images on Mila's Instagram, but please note that the look of every single card will be slightly different. I am currently working on those updates.

And it started from the new back design which was created today.

We will launch this project in a couple of days; we are still working on the presentation.

Early Bird Deal:

• ALL first-day backers who order at least one deck will receive a special “Day-One” coin as a gift!

• The coin size is 50 x 5 mm, and it will be produced with the same quality as our Legendarium coins.

• Backers of the "Premium Cloud" tier will also receive a second coin. This second coin is not part of the Early Bird deal; it is exclusive to the tier.

• The designs of both coins will be revealed during the campaign.

• This promotion will only be active within the first 24 hours!

• After that, you will need to pay to add a “Day-One” coin to your pledge.

P.S. I highly recommend that backers who ordered AI decks use their balance in this campaign. Here’s how: Pledge $1, then send me a message, and I’ll add your balance to Pledgebox so you’ll only pay the difference during the survey. Of course, there isn’t a poker deck included, but if you’re still interested in the tarot decks, this option is for you.

I am a huge fan of the Legendarium tarot. Mila crushed it. I can't to see what this deck looks like!

Live on KS now

I never try to be the first backer but for the first time ever I am backer #1 of a KS project.

I had hoped the mini Legendarium would be an add-on. I am waffling, because once again there are major departures from the traditional Major Arcana names.

They will be available! The reason I’m not adding Legendarium decks now (even though it’s the easiest way to boost funding) is that they will definitely be available during the survey. There’s no need to add them now and make the decks more expensive by paying the KS fees (~9%). Plus, Legendarium decks are already available for pre-order.

If I add decks for Clouds backers, both decks will be delivered much later. Either option works for me, and both options are available to backers, even if I haven’t explained this fully yet.

I pledged for this and feel it will be completed but backers on KS are getting very restless and upset over the delays and lack of communication.

Didn't he just post an update in July on KS? I can't see it because I didn't back but I checked the campaign and see there is something there.

He did, but some backers (a minority?) complained he is not being transparent enough on delays with no expected fulfillment timeline being given.

Reading between the lines on the public updates ( I didn't back this one either), the delays are related to issues outside of typical production issues, and have prevented him from working on the deck to finalize certain things with the files. He doesn't want to divulge those issues (if it's personal (as it seems) that's certainly his right). Some of the comments on the KS are overly spicy. I get being frustrated, but I don't think personal details are really their business.

I like that style. Mystical and legendary.
