There is an excellent 97min interview with Lorenzo by Pavel (Butterfly) on Patreon
I love his thought processes eg He asks:
"Is it just an illustration on a card?"

There are some that think the softcover Anthology bookcover looks better than the hardcover - looking at your pic I think the softcover tuck may look better than the hardcover version tuck

Are you talking about the middle deck vs the one to its right? There looks to be a lot of glare off the cellophane so I can't tell.

That would be correct, the middle and left anthologies are the same thing. the one on the left is just the misprint and didnt get opened.

the misprint being the backs are grey instead of black.

the one on the right is the limited patron edition which I also haven't opened (Im going to get 2 of the misprints and open one) so yes its super shiny.

the only real difference is the big metal logo in the middle of the tuck other than that its swapping gold and silver in a few places the material is the same.

Im more partial to the red tuck, the new version of house of the rising spade really love that deck and the layout on these is different than the others.

They're the same tuck, although the softcover analog has gold foil embellishment, while the hardcover analog has white ink + the metal sigil.

Oh? That is white ink on the Hardcover variant? And I thought it is silver foil. Thanks for verifying!

I was noticing more that the Ltd tuck has red on it like the Hardcover book

Yes, it's the red on the metal logo that is glued to the tuck.

Theres still 170 of them on the patron page so it's certainly possible to get someone to buy some for trade/resell.
Based on the emailed list I dont expect to see it on the public store.

But its not a cheap deck $45 even for patrons.

I keep looking at the uncut sheet myself...

I got a shipping notification for the 2025 rewards, coming within the next three days from FedEx.

I need to review Patreon updates more often. Really excited about the stuff we're receiving though I know about half of them.

My Golem statue leg was broken. His arms doesn't cling on it's back area. The foam it came with was so snug. It should've been a more solid structure. That's my only complaint. I was very impressed with the deck in the flask.

If you were in S17's first year of Patreon - see the goodies in the very first post of this thread
You will be interested to know that a SoCal auction with nearly a day still to run - is already up to $506 for The Odd Fellows deck

I'm not surprised one bit. There are so many collectors wanting a full set of Odd Fellows, and Dr. Crow is the rarest of them all. Even at a print run of 300, the demand is quite high.

I believe this was year 2 of his Patreon. Quartermaster came before it.

Certainly no later than Spring or Fall of 2024...most likely.)
Are people still waiting for Lotrek's 2021 or is it 2022 (or both)?

There were 5 years of his initial patreon and then about a yearish gap when it was paused. So far only year 1 has been delivered.

I don't hate Lotrek, I just don't like seeing him disrespecting people with his spin and nonsense promises.

Just because an artist still has both ears doesn’t mean he isn’t otherwise a bit odd.

Folks that are ticked certainly have a right to be ticked - honestly I find it pretty odd that I’m not, but it seems that in one small area of my life I may have accidentally achieved zen…

When I got in I knew what I was in for and had no problem with it - but that never stopped me from getting stressed about anything else…

I have never been a patreon with any designer at rewards level. It is different from what I believe a patron to be. But because patronage in the card community was 'sold' as such, people are entitled to expect what they were promised.
If you want a return from Lotrek, I would suggest asking him for shop credits in lieu of supposed rewards because with 4yrs owing I think he would be relieved if the burden was lifted off him as he probably has one in the pipeline but not 4.

ps Maybe a mod could move all the posts from my 10.20pm onwards to the Lotrek thread (Sorry Lorenzo)

Uncut tucks probably wouldn't go for as much but it makes me curious what these may go for in today's market:

Whew....I bought a Dr Crow years ago but at the price I got more decks out of the deal.

I have the tri-deck wooden S17 display for sale that came with the Patreon decks.

I find it discomforting that deck fetched that price.

Not so much that someone paid that, but that I checked, saw I had only one of them, and that was the end of that.

There was a time when I was still sane enough that I would have at least thought about selling…

I'm surprised by this price for Dr Crow, but SHOCKED that this 3 set deck had 105 bids and reached $855 - Hummingbird Feathers Gilded Set (#108/225) [AUCTION]
