It's not bad if a project barely reaches it's funding IF there are off-Kickstarter wholesale orders to go with the Kickstarter money. The Grinders would've been fine, but I would've had a large number of unused / wasted custom Brick Boxes.
The two big changes involve switching the custom Brick Box to a custom 6-Pack Box instead, and adding an extremely Limited version (500 printed). The Limited Grinders Deck will be on a White Tuck Stock and will utilize Black Foil and Gold Holographic Foil (the same one on the new 52 Plus Joker Deck). It will also have a custom Diecut and individually numbered Seal Sticker that's 1-Color Black printed on a Silver Holographic Foil material.
I've avoided the Limited game ever since going solo (Draconians and Bowling Decks). It's been getting tougher with each project! It's time to bust out the rarest of any of my Decks!!
Thanks, Randy

I think there's an opportunity for MPC. They do everything, from making the cards to fulfillment. Bicycle seems to have priced themselves out for most of the projects, but many feel that having Bicycle on the box is a deal breaker. I don't think so. At the +-10% added and the registration issues really make for more expensive projects. I think people get caught up with what cardists or magicians think, but they go through decks quickly after performances. It gets costly, so they use Bicycle Rider Backs because they're cheap and familiar to audiences.

Pricing breakdown
On top of our normal shipping charges per individual parcel sent, we include a small surcharge on top as shown below in the table which will include a tracking number for proof of postage, all packaging and labeling printing and materials and labor.
US All other countries
+$1 +$2.5
Example: To ship 100 parcels each containing 1 deck of cards to 100 US addresses using our fulfillment service. The fulfillment cost for each individual parcel would include the normal $5.99 shipping charge plus the $1 surcharge for handling which is $6.99. Multiply this by 100 parcels, the cost of this service in this case would be $699.

I actually think that MPC has upped their game to be a legit competitor in recent times, very impressed with impressions (I just had to XD). What they really need now is a good marketing team, getting their decks out to the right people, and dump their image as a third choice printer.

I think they have to go through the same pains that Legends and EPCC went through. I too was impressed with their Impressions decks. They have been doing some pretty innovative stuff with their last two projects.
I've printed my own personal custom deck with their 310 gsm (linen) and the quality of the stock and the feel was pretty good. The Impressions decks didn't feel out of place compared to my Legends or EPCC decks either.
Unfortunately, their early stuff wasn't up to par and maybe that's where the problem was. I think they just have to lure some big designers, cut them a sweetheart deal to put them on the map. I'd love to see a Kings Wild MPC deck. That said, their last two projects did $81,591 CAD with 2,017 backers and $39,001 CAD with 810 backers.

It was bound to be tough this time around since literally everyone decided to launch projects at the same time for some reason. Some coordination between creators might be a good idea and beneficial to all. But I do think your deck was going to fund.

For the White Gold version, is the black foil on the tuck or on the card back?

The White Gold Tuck Box will have the Black Foil and Gold Holographic Foil.
The Back Card for the White Gold Deck will be 4-Color Process + a 1-Color UV Spot Varnish overlay. The Black elements on the Card Back are too fine, and too close to other pertinent design elements, to work properly. The UV Spot Varnish will work nicely!
Below is a side-by-side of the White Gold Back Card's breakdown.
thanks, Randy

"I've upped my pledge... up yours!"
But, cereally, folks, I'm really bummed that I missed the power trio. Gah!!!!
Randy, are you doing backerkit with this one as you have with previous campaigns? Will the blue decks be available for add-on as part of that?

Blue decks are currently available as add-ons now on the campaign for 10US each.

Power Pairs for me. But yes - it would be groovy to have a heads up when adding tiers.
The blue is gorgeous! Nicely done, Sir

Set your KS to notify you (the backer) in email when an update is made. It will allow anyone to hope on by phone, tablet, lappy, or desktop to snatch up something that becomes available. KS has all kinds of nifty little doohickeys in Settings to enable a backer to be on top of the campaign. Really though, anyone can just add-on a blue if they already have a tier and there are limited tiers available. Something for everyone here and lots for all! I think Randy did a great job of planning this through.
In my opinion, wishing for a specific tier when anyone can easily grab up a limited tier right now... well that's Left Field.
