I should have updated the thread title. There will be no KS for this one. It was my February Kings Wild Shorts Subscription deck.
So JR, you've said before that you usually always order an extra 10% of decks in order to cover damages (which is a practice everyone should do). And in the past, after many months pass and you're left with the extra stock, you've offered mixed bricks (sometimes mystery bricks) of the extra decks. I was curious, since you're pumping out deck after deck after deck, if you're almost nearing a time where you're going to have a sale like that again?

The Standard Labyrinth decks will be available to NON Kings Wild Shorts Subscribers in March sometime. However they will be $2 more expensive ($15 Plus Shipping) So options are, you can just wait till then and pay an extra $2 or have a subscriber grab you some at the $12 Subscriber price.
Hope that helps.

Yes and No.
With the shorts I print 1100 decks each time only because that the minimum plus the 10%. I am trying to put together a premium subscription option that will allow people to subscribe to a gilded edition each month, but I'm still trying to get the gilding production to meet up time wise with each decks release. Once that happens the break up of the 1100 decks will look something like this.
1100 Deck Total
- 350 Limited Edition Subscription Deck (Numbered)
- 600 Standard Editions
- 150 Gilded Editions
All of the LTD Editions are spoken for each month, and about 75% of the Standard decks have been being taken by subscribers before I release the remaining inventory to NON-subscribers. Grant it, my only data so far with a complete cycle with a deck printed by USPCC is Pi but Labyrinth is looking the same in terms of numbers.
In terms of having a sale... I am actually moving to Colorado from Texas for health reasons, sometime after April and will most likely do some huge moving sale as I am lazy and would rather sale cards rather than pack and move them.
Lastly I have held back about 10 sub-slots for various reasons and will sale a few complete matching sets at the end of the year, but those won't really be at a sale price so the moving sale might be your more economical option.
I hope that answers your question.

That is exactly what I was wondering. I hope the weed in Colorado helps whatever ails you. Good luck on your health and the move! I will be eagerly awaiting news of a moving sale.

Unfortunatley my problem is chronic asthma and that I only have one lung so maybe I will stick to brownies... I don't have a problem with my gut.

Well good luck with that. I just assumed you are an artist moving out of a warm climate to the weed capital of the US... Whoops!

I just received my sets and I like! Another creative deck from Jackson. The decks it the boxed set though are press-fitted in there. It took considerable effort to pry them loose.
I will be sad to have Jackson leave Texas. I know the area he is in really well. It is just gorgeous. I am surprised allergies bother you there, unless it is something like cypress or rag weed allergies. The problem with Colorado is its high altitude. Are you sure you can handle the thin air? Usually folks with compomised lung capacity can’t handle high altitudes. My mom is on oxygen due to years of smoking. Best wishes. I’d be glad to come up and help you load up if you need an extra pair of hands.

Definitely. But I’ll also work for donuts and pizza (beer too, but best give that too after the work is done as it is likely to put me to sleep).

Hey, Jody Eklund is also in Colorado. Not sure how far you'll be from him. But here's hoping you 2 will meet up 1 day and we all get to see a JR & JE collaboration deck in the future!

I just checked the tracking for my LE deck and 2 deck set, and it’s now traveling away from me

hopefully the Usps error is realized and it comes back to me...

Sometimes shipments will travel further away from you as the crow flies because they're being routed to a particular regional sorting center. Where are you located and where's it transiting?

I recently (just this past week) had a shipment go from Wisconsin - to New Jersey - back to Michigan, so yeah, weird s^&* happens sometimes...

I live close to New Orleans. I’ve had packages do weird things before, but always once the package gets to New Orleans, it then goes to my local post office. ‘‘This package is now showing up in Morgan City about an hour and a half away from here, after having already made it to New Orleans.

My decks arrived safe and sound last night. One of the Labyrinth sets that I ordered was not included in the package. I sent Jackson an email and within minutes had a new order number with the missing set on its way. No questions, no distrust. Jackson knows his customers and has always done right by me. I appreciate that.

I've also had multiple Gamber's Warehouse items sent out, went back to them, no information, and shipping on route in US while the package is lying in my mailbox in UK...
So yeah, I'd say tracking does a lot of funny things, especially Gambler's (notoriously desynchronized shipping info)

While I appreciate GW’s ability to handle large-scale shipping, one thing that they do is driving me up the wall. All you get from them is an email saying that a package is heading your way without an indication of what is being sent and from whom. As a result, I now have 5 or 6 packages sent to me and I do not know what is inside. I mean, I can roughly guess but is it really that difficult to include a few details?

I, unfortunately for my wallet, order a lot of decks and back a lot of KS playing card projects. Every once in a while, among these many shipments, one of them will arrive in Seattle and then... bounce to some other random part of the country, hang out there for a day or two, and then come back to Seattle before finally reaching my suburb's post office. It doesn't happen often -- a couple times a year, out of who knows how many shipments? -- but it's often enough for me to not be phased any more when I see it happen. It appears to have nothing to do with who sent the package or from what part of the country or world. It's just random, when it does.

I haven't gotten my shipping notification yet. And nothing is showing up on my Informed Delivery app either. I hate waiting for decks to arrive.

Just sent Jackson an e-mail through the contact form on his website but I'm posting here too on the off chance he sees it here first.
I do all of my own fulfillment and we most likely just made a mistake. Send me an email directly to
jackson@kingswildproject.com and let me know what you're missing and we will get you the correct deck out tomorrow.
An update on this: not only did Kings Wild have a confirmation with USPS tracking number in my inbox first thing in the morning after my initial e-mail, they even
matched the number to my subscription deck:

I don't sweat it if seal numbers don't match across a series, and I certainly didn't expect them to in this instance, with the two decks shipping under separate order numbers almost a week apart. So to open the deck mailer and see that matching number - knowing KW staff must've taken it on their own initiative,
without my ever mentioning it, to make sure they picked and shipped that specific deck - really impressed me. Many thanks to Jackson and to Nick for going above and beyond in their customer service.

My Labyrinth limited subscription came in, but I never got my Labyrinth standard subscription. I logged in to my subscriber page and it shows no tracking number whatsoever. I can't help but feel that if Jackson isn't literally sitting in front of his computer when your eMail comes in, your chances of getting a reply don't bode well. I've sent multiple eMails and have gotten no response. I understand his inbox probably sees quite a bit of traffic, but i'd like to think I deserve a response as my issue is valid enough to warrant one. I just feel frustrated and helpless that i've payed money for a deck I never got, and have no way to do anything about it. From what i've read I seem to be a one off case, which is good as a whole - just not for me.
If anyone has an ideas how else I may go about getting my deck, please let me know.

Good thing I checked this forum. These decks look cool with the red gilding. Not that I am going to open them though. 25 might be the lowest print run in my collection. Up to this point it was a green Ravn which was signed by Lorenzo and was limited to 40!
