@all: I know that Jackson was beaten here in the past but after I met him in Cleveland I can only say that he really is a great guy! And I'm glad he's back.

Received my Red Damask today and the tuck is truly gorgeous - really nice colours and detailing. I am very happy with my first Lotrek deck - thank you Lotrek!!

Yeah, I've been 'defending' Jackson for awhile. People think we're related. I'm just a huge fan of his work, and people make mistakes. Sound familiar?

It is great to have him back at UC because he wasn't around when I started contributing. His interaction with us, and his insight into the business, is very invaluable (same with you and Guru). It's also great for the combination of him and us, because he can get 'live' feedback from his customers/fans on his deck designs.

Just to be clear: I'm not against a couple of deck variants (more than 3 different colors is too much, though, IMO). As Adonael said, "it's nice to have choices." I'm just against saying one thing, and doing another.

Both decks look great, I like the blue one better because the backs look like they pop more. At this point anyone who didn't pre-order better be glad to get even one of them.

Got my Red decks in the mail today too.

That foil is Super shiny.

Now to get my hands on a Blue one!

Received yesterday my red Damask. Absolutely gorgeous. Stunning. Breathtaking, even.
I wasn't planning to get a blue deck, but I don't know how can I pass after having the red one in my hands.

I'll be busy looking for coins in my couch. And in old jeans.

I received one of my DAMASK decks today! It's amazing!

I'm just curious if my other one was shipped separately. Probably, since it was a second order. So excited!

I had a Brinks truck just drop off a small parcel from Greece today containing three very shiny Red and back playing card decks. Inside are some of the most amazing decks you can imagine. It blows me away the level of detail Lotrek was able to accomplish with no ink at all on the decks. They make the Golden Oath decks look amateurish by comparison. It is stunning.

If you didn't get a Damask Deck when they sold, then you definitely should try to get the extas that he puts on sale in a little bit.

Well ... how do I put this ... I got my red Damask inscribed by the man himself.

I didn't get an email and/or tracking number either... still waiting and hoping that my package is on it's way.

Oscar - just shoot an email to Lotrek and he should be able to send you the tracking numbers. I emailed him this morning and got a very quick response.

No tracking but a stunning red deck arrived yesterday. I don't know how he can keep breaking the boundaries of deck creation.

I just received this notice in my email from Oath Playing Cards.

Now that I was reminded of a creature that lives on the lips of lobsters with a mouth like a vacuum cleaner, I look at the red courts and their pink faces. Now I think of lobsters and wonder what lives on their lips.

I received my deck today... And must say I'm desapointed.

Lotrek promised a package full of Hellenic Post stamps, but mine only had 4... that's not full, there was a lot of space left empty, so not happy at all.

As for the deck, yep, it's ok (diminished feeling related with the fact that there was not enough stamps on my package)

I don't know if I'll buy one or two red decks tomorrow. From what I'm seeing and reading, these are better than Golden Oath.

I think the Golden Oath needs to stand on its own as it was done much earlier and was, at that time, an amazing technical feat. I still really like the Golden Oath, just like I do the Venexiana Gold.

However, side by side, the detail in the Damask is so much more amazing. Below is an example of one court card of both decks. Also, a quick correction, the Damask deck does use some ink, whereas the Golden Oath is just foil. Still, the Damask uses five foils (or is it four foils? Gold, gold, blue and silver?) on at least the court cards. What is also interesting is the similar basic design between the two court cards, so a side by side comparison is worthwhile.

My second deck came in the mail yesterday!

Yeah, I noticed that Lotrek totally surpassed his own Golden Oath deck, however, it's cool to see that the same artist has pushed the technical envelope so far, by himself. Incredible.

Any word on when the blues will start being made available to us sight-unseen backers?

Lotrek told me around the end of this month.
