Only 20 EUR
EDIT: This is what the new "secret rewards" look like on KS:

I keep getting emails telling me how well they are selling while asking me to back it.

I think I know what you are inferring but those two things are not mutually exclusive
About 700% funded at present

AND its intended as a smaller project/print run than most of his decks, about 1800 decks total printed.
This was never intended to be a $100k project.
Im on pretty much every TWI mailing list there is and I had to go look to see if I had gotten many reminders about it, I haven't more before the campaign than since it went up by far.

The inference is not that it's doing poorly, It is the fomo marketing.

Right and there is also the fact that we all know that TWI do not need KS to fund this - they just want to use every promotion tool out there

From what Gio has said in the past, he still gets a substantial amount of his income from Kickstarter, so it is still an essential part of his card production business model. I was a little late, but picked up an early bird half-brick, which is fine for me. Overall, his EB are nice, but I don't think it is really necessary either. For those interested in some of the decks in the Monster Boxes, those can be a nice deal to pick them up. The campaign boxes are also nice in that you can pick up the coins and such for a good deal. I like Gio's boxes, but not for me this time around.

I think one of the things that really annoys me with TWI more than anything are the ludicrous website prices - $600 usd for a deck of cards?? … Ok, I’ll just go to eBay then and pick one up for $50 If i really want it.

Gio prices certain decks that high so that he can keep them to include in his boxes on Kickstarter. It discourages people from buying them so he can hang onto them. (Why doesn’t list them as “sold out“ as a mystery, although it may be that the stock shown on his website is linked to the stock levels at Gamblers Warehouse, or where he stores his decks.)

Bs take. Sorry buddy. It's dishonest. He sold Devotion decks to a non-patron for 120$ each, at a time when only patrons were supposed to be able to get them. I have receipts. Money talks and bs walks. Twi is worst for predatory pricing. Are you seriously justifying the ludicrously high retail price fomo strategy? Makes no sense to me. If you don't want to sell then don't sell... putting 100$-500$ price tag is not so he doesn't sell them smh. Sorry i get heated when people are justifying actions that i see as intolerable. I know it's just business... even if it is often under the guise of supporting a friend or whoever you think they are to you.

Is it just a bundle if at the time, the creator says that only patrons can get them?..but then sells a '2 deck bundle' at 120 each if you dm them? It's an illusion to make people think something is worth way more than it is and thusly willing to spend significantly less than the retail value because it looks like a deal.

Part of the KS promotional tool is the 'support' aspect , which doesn't always jive for me when I feel like I'm in a retail shop.

We've all had this conversation before, KS is just another shop for playing cards, even KWP uses it like one.

All the top dogs of the playing card world do and i assume other hobbies too. It feels odd for me to shop at a well to do business and talk about supporting them. They are standing just fine. And tbh, people are shopping for products they want, not because they want to support vendors. The word 'Support' has been made into a useful marketing tool.

Honestly, you were sharing your opinions without attacking/name-calling. Well done. I agree with some of your points even if I understand that it's a business.

You're not piecing together the gravity of what transpired according to my silly rant but regardless, I'm sorry. I should not be complaining to strangers on the internet or sharing confidential stories. It's off putting to some and I'm sorry Timmargh. I don't like using that language or seeing others use it. I should have been more of a gentleman and a better communicator about it.

My emotions got the better of me and it was shameful to bring about some of the language I used. I do not want Timmargh to feel attacked. Thanks for your understanding.

A huge thank you to all UC members who supported my Obsession campaign! It exceeded expectations, and I’m incredibly grateful. I’ll do my best to deliver as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, some rewards are still available as late pledges—these will remain open until I collect the survey data, likely in a couple of weeks.

If you missed it, pre-orders are on thirdsiren and prices are lower than the late backer. 12€ for the standard deck. Was that the eb price on the campaign?

I dont see anything on third siren (or any emails pointing to something) but there were no EB single decks, only larger groups.

The items currently on Thirdsiren are for KS backers only and have the same price as the addons (apart certain items that have been raised because they're almost sold out) - I kindly ask to not share the link here since it's for Backers only.
If anyone missed Obsessions, late pledges are still available on the main campaign page >
