I just decided to unlock it on Kickstarter (but it will still be available later on Backerkit, for all backers).

I listened to that whole song. Throw back Thursday, classic "one time!"

One of the few occasions where a cover of an iconic song holds its own and enhances the original rather than diminishing it.

(I'm not saying it's better than Flack's, but rather, the fact that it is as good as hers actually elevates both, imho.)

Fun fact: the original song was co-written by a woman who was describing Don McLean's song, "Empty Chairs" (which is also brilliant, imho). The original version didn't chart, but Roberta Flack's cover was the first iconic rendition of it, winning two Grammys for it. Thanks to Gio's decision for a flash sale on his website and the discount code for the KS backers for Apoteosi, I am hard pressed if I should go for the Black Monolith or not. Such a great deck but my wallet is already crying after backing Apoteosi and the Heaven's gift. Currently I only see 4 left in stock for the Black Monoliths!

I know right! I decided to go for it as I already have the white one and been thinking about the black one for a long time. There were 5 left before I ordered. Also bought Italia Radiosa and Segreta. Not going to get Italia Divina deck as they have the same cards as Magica, which I already have.

Black Monolith is selling like crazy, probably because it's "related" to Apoteosi for the Holographic foil.
I have probably more than 4, but I am being careful since I don't have an updated inventory and Black Monolith is included into the "Creation Monsterbox".

Personal Note: The artwork is (as usual) absolutely phenomenal. The back foiling is very dark and subtle. Im not whole unopposed to this, esp. with the backstory of the deck.
