Suggestion for Jocu: Hold a beer drinking contest, immediately followed by a bidding round for the 5 most prolific beer-drinkers

So it's agreed that the decks stay in Europe then? 😃

I think it should go to the person who produces the most beer. As the non-so-official UC Brew Master, that should go to me. :ugdance:

Ah, the Pilsner Urquell, the grand-daddy of Pilsners. I studied it back in the day. However, that is a lager. I tend to prefer ales. To each their own though. I must admit I do very much like the Pilsner Urquell.

Dude you brew? A brewing contest for a deck of these would be fun and wouldn’t get me sued if one of you dies 🍻

Hops & Barley sprung from my first full home brew that came out fantastic and during that period if early lockdown it kept me sane.

Looks nice but I really enjoy the brown tuck copper version.

Sadly, all of my home-made brewing equipment is long gone, but I did find it a very relaxing hobby. I think I could whip up something though with modest effort. My only really tough contraption miss is my home-made wort cooling device, which was basically just some copper hose that was wrapped in a coil to fit into the large cooking pot and then connected to some small garden hoses to bring in and out the water from the sink that had a special adapter to thread the sink to the hose... brings back memories.

As luck would have it, I received a certain parcel today....

For anyone that was looking for one of these limited Hops and Barley decks, I just noticed that one of the links I had took me to a page where there is a "Drifters" tier that includes one of these decks as part of it's rewards. Six slots show as available. It is odd, because the "Drifters" tiers doesn't show on the main page of the inner circle tier lists. Maybe this is no longer available? I don't know, but I will share it with you if you want one....

Link removed: It doesn't work now anyway....

Thanks for that lead hsbc. That was a good enough deal with my discounts to get me to load up on a few more. Just to let everyone know, there are 28 Amber Ale and 18 Golden Pilsner decks remaining.

Copper is cold foil backed yes! The inner circle variant we did is gilded and in a wooden display box with a different tuck… they’re long gone though.

These are good prices and it’s a cute promotion. Recommended!

Next up we can finally reveal, after many teasers, the 'standard' deck of the IC Chapter 4 package. Introducing Hops & Barley Belgian Blonde! ..... The fronts have been revamped for the theme and include the classic HB aces with Belgian Blonde glass, and a new colour scheme for the court cards

As a man who appreciates his tucks, I think this one has turned out the best :D the paper is of the same series, but something about it just feels even better this time round, perhaps as Boschiero have another year's experience behind them doing tucks.

I've got this down as a summer drop for general release to give the IC a period of exclusivity but it'll be squeezed in around Green Man Summer and another as yet unannounced drop :D
